Artist's Background

Angelo "Ange" Charles Garzio was an internationally known ceramicist and professor of cermics at Kansas State University from 1957 to 2008.  He exhibited across the globe, and his work is in the collections of the Smithsonian and the Museum of Arts and Design in New York.  In the early 1970's, he served as a U.S. State Department Cultural Arts Visiting Ceramic Lecturer to Santa Cruz and Sucre, Bolivia.

Ange passed away on passed away on January 20, 2008.
